Tufnell Park Yard Sale
Last Sunday in September every year.
Next yard sale: Sunday 29th September 2024 2-5pm
80 or so houses in Tufnell Park taking part.
HOW TO BE A STALL HOLDER
1. You need to LIVE in the streets between Campdale Rd/Holloway Rd and Foxham Rd/Tufnell Park Rd (see map here). THERE'S NO CHARGE TO BE INCLUDED ON THE MAP BUT IT IS ONLY OPEN TO RESIDENTS TO HAVE A STALL.
2. Sorry, no commercial traders.
3. Sign up here. Tell us your address and roughly what you are selling and we'll add you to the map. Please register as soon as possible, it encourages other people to join.
4. Tell as many friends, neighbours and colleagues as you can to come along. Follow the updates on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
4.Get creative and design a sign or download a poster and put it up in your window or car.
5. On the day, set up your wares ouside your house (DON'T BLOCK THE PAVEMENT!), on your wall, in your front garden, on a table or on the ground - whatever you can manage - and wait for people to come!

6. We are individually and jointly resposible so I know I don't need to ask, but tidy up after yourself, obviously.

7. Final note: If you do not live here and you set up uninvited, you will be asked to leave and if necessary the police will be called.

IMPORTANT:
Don't block the pavement! Make sure a wheelchair or pushchair can pass on the pavement.
Don't sell anything illegal (that means alcohol too).
HELPFUL TIPS:
It's a good idea to have some spare carrier bags and a float of at least £20. (If you are a buyer bring some reusable bags you can use and save the plastic.)
It helps if you have the map to hand so you can direct people to the next yard sale.
If you can, try and get out and about and meet your neighbours too, take turns on your stall.
Make a sign or print out a poster.
